| Very few machines need to be running routing daemons. If your machine is only connected to the internet through one method, you can disable routing protocols. If this machine is at an ISP or major networking center, you should still use gated instead of routed. Bastille only helps make your machine more secure, so if this machine is currently a router using routed, you should leave this on, then migrate to gated manually later. (Bastille will not enable gated for you.) |
