Is printing disabled?
If this machine is not going to need to print, you should stop the print scheduler and restrict the permissions on all the printing utilities. On Linux, you could revert this later by typing: # /bin/chmod 0755 /usr/bin/lpr /usr/bin/lprm /usr/bin/lpstat # /bin/chmod 04755 /usr/bin/lppasswd # /sbin/chkconfig cups on This is only recommended if this machine will not be used for printing in the near future. If you deactivate this, you might want to write down the commands above in case you decide to re-enable printing later.
